If you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, try this short mindfulness practice. Find a quiet place and sit there with your eyes gently closed. Bring your awareness to your breath entering and leaving your body. Start to relax and feel calm. Now, on the in breath silently repeat 'cherish yourself' and on the out breath repeat 'cherish others'. Do this for a few minutes. When you have finished, slowly open your eyes and very gently introduce yourself back into the day.July 27, 2016
