Thoughts Are Only Thoughts

Thoughts are just thoughts. They are not necessarily true or helpful - they are just thoughts. This means we do not have to blindly follow every thought. When we are being mindful we see the thought arising and we have a choice to follow or not. If it is a good thought, follow it. If it is an unhelpful thought, let it go.
